Chinese Learning

Chinese must be very hard to all of us! But do you think we can learn this language well? The answer is a firm yes. But how?

Lots of English-speakers come to China to learn Chinese, but not many of them can learn Chinese well. But I suppose, the crucial thing is your will. There is famous sentence,"Where there is a will, there is a way."

Most foreigners fly to China, but they still speak English or other languages. And also you know Chinese people would love to speak English with foreigners in the name of learning. So the will is not strong and constructive. Thus you cannot pass the "speaking pass".

So what I suggest is you should lay down you mother tongue for a while when you are in China, simply because you want to learn Chinese. When you communicate in Chinese, you will find it is not always as you have thought of. And practice makes perfect, you will know how to speak Chinese well if you have been painstakingly practising. This is the power of Communication!

Once you learn speaking, you can move to Chinese reading, or you can do the two things at the same time if you think you are industrious enough and smart. Reading can definitely improve your Chinese level. I mean that when you begin your Chinese reading, you will meet so many difficulties which will help you to enhance your Chinese even without your realization. I think once you learn Chinese reading, you can speak profound meanings in Chinese, your spoken Chinese will never only be "Hello","Nice to meet you", or "Where are you going?" such simple things. Maybe I guess you will ask your Chinese friends,"How could Qin Emperor finally dominate the six small kingdoms thousands of years ago?"

Besides, you can learn Chinese writing although you may think it is exceedingly difficult, for at least Chinese characters are difficult to remember and to write. This system of writing far differs from English. We use letters, they use characters. And furthermore, the meanings made from characters are really hard and ambiguous if you don't learn them very deeply. One same Chinese word can generate bundles of meanings combined with other characters, or even just the change of the order. But don't be afraid! You can learn step by step.

By the way Rosetta Stone Chinese is very good for your Chinese speaking and basic knowledge of Chinese. If you hope to learn Chinese deeper, use Rosetta to give you some help.

I have touched a lot things that are really significant and powerful, like Rosetta Stone English, Instant Immersion etc. They are language learning tools. Certainly I have learned some other things as well.
