Why You Should Have a Laptop in College
When it comes to college school supplies, there aren't too many things you need. A lot of people say you'll need so much more than high school, but that's only if you're living in a dorm of course.
But really, you only need a few things. And really, you don't "need" them they are just a huge convenience to have them. For example, one thing I highly recommend is a laptop. Laptops have huge perks and can really help you out compared to a desktop! If you're thinking about getting one, let me tell you why you'd benefit from one.
Benefits of a college laptop:
When you have a laptop in college, you can type all your lecture notes instead of writing them all down. For some people this is a much faster way of taking notes. Also, your notes will be much more organized. You can organize them by folders, chapters, dates, etc. And once the class is over, you can delete them all. This saves paper while helping the environment.
Also, you can type up all your papers on your laptop, and print them at home or the library. Then, you can back it up by saving it on your computer just in case you lose your copy.
In college there is a lot of down time in between classes. During this time, you could be looking over your notes, writing your next paper, talking on AIM, e-mailing or even surfing Facebook for entertainment.
